Dance Hall is a dance lab experiment, conceived and brought into being by dancer, choreographer and filmmaker Tracie Mitchell. The project draws together five professionally trained dancers from South Gippsland in Victoria, each with different backgrounds and histories, to create a new work—a dance sketch—and perform it to an audience … all in the space of six weeks.
And I was invited into this process, to observe, and to then compose an original soundtrack.
